DeBragga and Spitler, became known as one of the finest meat purveyors in the entire industry, working directly with the best restaurants and hotels throughout the New York metro region and the Caribbean. The company’s reputation for excellence, quality and consistency was made, and New York’s Butcher was ready for the next generation of great chefs and restaurants.
In 2007, DeBragga developed a consumer online store DeBragga.com that allowed people across the country to purchase the meats, poultry and more, that have been the exclusive property of the highest rated restaurants and chefs. With the finest quality meat products, selection and delivery, now, everyone can cook like a legendary chef.
Creating Digital was hired in 2009 to support DeBragga’s existing website. Gradually making recommendations and changes to optimize both on site user experience as well as off site metrics such as stronger SEO rankings, which resulted in page one rankings for DeBragga. Incorporating years of experience, and in person usability studies, Creating Digital and DeBragga agreed it was time to modernize the look and feel of the site.
This much anticipated new website has been well planned out including new photography. Creating Digital’s primary goal during the redesign process was to create a more valuable, user-centric and responsive e-commerce website across all platforms and devices. Specifically, they wanted to focus on making it easier for customers to make purchases, learn and locate valuable information about DeBragga Meats at their desktop or on mobile devices.
The new site was built in Magento 2, by Creating Digital’s Magento developers and certified Solution Specialists. The Magento platform was customized specifically for DeBragga’s meat orders, many of which are cut and packaged fresh, not frozen. The DeBragga team relies on the custom backend tools designed for their butcher room and order fulfillment center in order for the butchers to fulfil the orders and ship out overnight.
